Quality Guarantee Scheme
The Federation has finalised its unique Quality Guarantee Scheme which registered members can issue along with their written specification and quotation for all works up to a value of £3,000.

This Guarantee is no cost to the member or consumer and we consider that such an offer will be attractive to members of the public and so encourage them to use the services of a Federation member rather than a non-member.

Insurance Advice
The Federation has appointed an Insurance Adviser and their services and advice are free and available to all members.

Legal Advice
Again, the Federation has secured free legal advice covering employment law etc. and this advice is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Wage Negotiations
The Federation, through the Scottish Painting Council, negotiates with the Union on all conditions and matters related to the trade and immediately informs members of the new agreement well in advance of its being implemented. Members then have good time to plan for any changes.

Year Book
The Year Book contains much information which is helpful to members but it also records the activities (Minutes etc.) of the Subordinate Committees of the Federation.

Debt Collection / Credit Check
Included with your Membership Subscription is membership of a "No Collection, No Fee" debt collection service.

Members can also avail themselves of other support services which include Basic Comercial Searches, Domestic Searches, Full Company reports, Business Monitor etc., all for nominal charges.

Holidays / Business Travel
Federation membership provides you with cost savings on Business and Holiday Travel. This service is also available to employees of member companies.

B.U.P.A.
Membership of the Federation entitles you to a reduction in the costs of membership of the B.U.P.A. schemes.

Newsletter
Approximately every quarter a Newsletter is circulated to all members. It includes all the latest information and detail on matters which relate to the trade and is indexed, enabling members to locate information easily.

Promotion of the Federation Membership
The membership of the Federation is circulated around a wide range of bodies, including Councils, Health Boards, Banks, Building Societies, P.S.A., Property Holdings (Scotland), Chambers of Commerce and many other organisations.

The purpose is to mkae these organisations aware of the Federation and the steps that Federation takes to ensure that the quality of work delivered by its members is to the highest possible standard.

The Federation has available Car Stickers, Van Roundals, Ties, Diaries, Umbrellas and good quality sweaters, polos shirts and ties which tell the public that you are a member of the Scottish Decorators' Federation and therefore are much more likely to be dependable and give a high quality of service and work.
